The 4 Most Important Things You Must Get Right in Life to Thrive

What really matters most in life? When all is said and done, the answer isn’t found in success, fame, or fortune—but in four foundational pillars that shape everything else. Whether you want to live with purpose, find deeper meaning, or build a legacy that lasts, these are the four things you must get right.

1. God.

Your belief about God has a huge effect on how your life turns out as it affects your worldview and decisions. Most people fall into 3 camps. you believe god exists, you’re unsure if god exists or you don’t believe god exists. No matter what your belief about god is right now, what is most important is the action of seeking God yourself honestly before making up your mind. As the truth about God is not discovered through ones rationalising or feelings, but through seeking. For God has said “you will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” and it is up to you to find out whether that is true.

2. Relationships.

Success in life ultimately comes down to the quality of your relationships. Relationships are so important that your overall health and wellbeing in the long term depends on it.Warren Buffett, the greatest investor of all time has said “when you get to my age, you'll really measure your success in life by how many of the people you want to have love you actually do love you.” No matter what dreams and goals you have in life, relationships play a huge role in whether you achieve them or not. Therefore make the topic of relationship a life study.

3. Yourself.

No one is perfect. We all have some sort of vices, lack certain skills, and possess some sort of poor life habits that hurt us and the people closest to us when we become adults. Failing to address these areas can eventually lead to devastating life situations like heart wrenching break ups, isolation, depression, sickness and even premature death. Therefore it is important to develop self awareness, be honest with our shortcomings and then actively work on improving in those areas. There are so many resources available out there on every imaginable topic. It is a matter of us taking action in picking up that book, taking that class, watching that education video and applying what we learn daily in order to make progress to become the very best versions of ourselves and usher in the best possible future.

4. Money.

Your understanding and behaviour with money plays a huge role in how your life turns out. The majority of people care a lot about money, many put it as the most important thing in life,  however peoples behaviour with money varies. Therefore people's lifestyles ultimately end up drastically different. Money is linked to our personal development. It can be an area that you suck at when it comes to managing it correctly. However, like any area you lack, acknowledging your limitations and actively working to improve in your understanding and behaviour with money will reap you blessings many times over throughout your life.

When you get these four areas right, you lay a strong foundation for peace, purpose, and fulfillment. Don’t wait. Start investing in what truly matters today.

God vs Money

We live in a world currently where for most people, money is God whether or not they like to admit it. Secularism and consumerism has grown to such a extent that the pursuit of wealth and material success has become the center of people's lives. Many for the sake of accumulating money have put aside their ethics and compromised their moral values, demonstrating their idolization of money.  Conversely, many no longer place much value in organized religion and spirituality . Some Church's have been vandalized and burnt down. Attendance has declined drastically, and religious institutions hold ever lesser sway over public discourse and personal beliefs. Mans struggle throughout ones life and history has been between whether one serves either God or money. This existential conflict encapsulates the fundamental question of where one's allegiance lies: with spiritual values or material pursuits. Choosing to serve God entails prioritizing principles of faith, morality, and compas...

The Lost Art of Sacrifice

In a world obsessed with comfort and self-gratification, the ancient wisdom of sacrifice stands in stark contrast to our modern mindset. Jesus's parable of the rich fool in Luke 12 serves as a powerful reminder that true abundance isn't found in what we store up for ourselves, but in what we give away. The Rich Fool's Fatal Mistake The parable tells of a wealthy man whose land produced an abundant harvest. Instead of sharing his blessing, he decided to tear down his barns to build bigger ones, telling himself, "You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry." But God's response was swift and sobering: "You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?" This powerful story reveals God's perspective—He abhors those who selfishly hoard resources while telling themselves to take life easy. By contrast, He loves those who take life seriously a...

Truth over everything

What is the most important value in the world ? Loyalty ? Faith ? Equality ? Many say prosperity. I believe the most important value is Truth. Seeking the truth for its own sake and not for any other reason. Seeking the truth about whether this life that we have right now is really all we have and death is the end of everything or is there more. Seeking out whether God is actually real. Seeking out ones purpose here on earth. These types of questions frightens many of us as it may seem near impossible to find the answer to them, however what if that is the main reason why each of us are placed here in the first place - to go on a adventure of discovery. How does one define truth? Pontius Pilate the roman prefect that oversaw the trial of Jesus Christ of Nazareth once asked Jesus "what is truth?" The dictionary defines it as "the quality and state of being true" as well as "that which is true or in accordance with fact or reality." I would add to the de...
